Abstract

Keselamatan merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang aman, nyaman, dan kondusif bagi seluruh civitas akademika. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengarahkan siswa calon mahasiswa baru dalam proses penerimaan di Universitas IVET Semarang sekaligus meningkatkan kesadaran dan kesiapan terkait keselamatan kerja sesuai dengan jurusan yang diminati. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada masyarakat sekolah SMA/SMK di Kabupaten Bima dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman. Metode yang digunakan meliputi survei awal untuk mengetahui pemahaman siswa mengenai keselamatan kerja, sosialisasi interaktif melalui presentasi multimedia, video ilustrasi, paparan Power Point, diskusi kelompok. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang keselamatan pribadi dan kolektif, serta kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi risiko di lingkungan kampus. Integrasi materi keselamatan dengan informasi penerimaan mahasiswa baru berdampak pada minat siswa untuk mendaftar ke Universitas IVET Semarang. Peminatan siswa mendaftarkan diri pada Universitas Ivet Semarang khususnya pada Jurusan Teknik Keselamatan berada pada 57,14% menunjukkan ketertarikan mendaftar, masuk dalam kategori sedang. Secara keseluruhan, pendekatan interaktif dan praktik langsung terbukti efektif dalam menanamkan budaya keselamatan serta membimbing siswa memahami prosedur pendaftaran dan fasilitas kampus sesuai jurusan.
