Pemberdayaan Majelis Taklim Melalui Edukasi Psikospiritual dalam Pengendalian Hipertensi dan Pencegahan Stroke

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas edukasi psikospiritual dan pelatihan keterampilan kesehatan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemampuan pengukuran tekanan darah mandiri, serta praktik manajemen stres pada anggota majelis taklim sebagai upaya pengendalian hipertensi dan pencegahan stroke. Program ini mengintegrasikan edukasi tentang hipertensi dan pencegahan stroke, pelatihan pemeriksaan tekanan darah menggunakan tensimeter digital, serta intervensi psikospiritual berupa terapi dzikir dan latihan relaksasi otot progresif. Metode yang digunakan mencakup penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung oleh peserta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada beberapa aspek kemampuan peserta. Pengetahuan tentang pengendalian hipertensi dan pencegahan stroke meningkat dari 40% menjadi 83% setelah edukasi diberikan. Keterampilan pengukuran tekanan darah secara mandiri mengalami peningkatan dari 30% menjadi 90%, menunjukkan kemampuan deteksi dini hipertensi yang lebih baik di tingkat individu. Selain itu, pemahaman dan praktik terapi dzikir serta relaksasi otot progresif meningkat dari 50% menjadi 87%, yang berkontribusi pada penurunan stres dan peningkatan kesejahteraan psikologis peserta. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa edukasi kesehatan berbasis psikospiritual efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi masyarakat dalam mengelola hipertensi dan mencegah stroke. Pendekatan ini juga mudah direplikasi di komunitas lain dengan penyesuaian konteks budaya dan nilai-nilai keagamaan setempat. Implementasi strategi ini diharapkan mampu mendorong perubahan perilaku yang berkelanjutan dalam manajemen kesehatan komunitas.
