Abstract

Tuberkulosis Resistan Obat (TB-RO) merupakan masalah kesehatan serius yang membutuhkan penanganan jangka panjang dan berdampak besar terhadap kondisi fisik, psikologis, serta status gizi pasien. Keberhasilan pengobatan TB-RO tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kepatuhan minum obat, tetapi juga sangat dipengaruhi oleh dukungan nutrisi yang adekuat dari keluarga. Di Provinsi Papua, ketersediaan bahan pangan lokal yang kaya gizi sebenarnya cukup melimpah, namun pemanfaatannya sebagai pola makan sehat bagi penderita TB-RO masih terbatas akibat kurangnya pengetahuan keluarga. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman, kesadaran, dan motivasi keluarga penderita TB-RO dalam menerapkan pola makan sehat dan seimbang melalui metode plate meal berbasis bahan makanan lokal Papua. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Klinik VCT-TB RSUD Jayapura dengan sasaran keluarga pasien TB-RO dan didukung oleh kader kesehatan setempat. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah edukatif, diskusi interaktif, serta demonstrasi penyusunan menu plate meal menggunakan bahan pangan lokal seperti sagu, ubi jalar, keladi, ikan, dan sayuran hijau. Evaluasi capaian dilakukan melalui observasi partisipasi peserta dan refleksi selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme peserta yang tinggi dan peningkatan pemahaman mengenai prinsip plate meal, khususnya pembagian porsi makanan yang seimbang dan terjangkau. Peserta menyadari bahwa pola makan sehat dapat diterapkan dengan memanfaatkan bahan pangan lokal yang tersedia di lingkungan sekitar. Selain peningkatan pengetahuan, kegiatan ini juga dapat mendukung keberhasilan pengobatan TB-RO. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien TB-RO serta mendukung keberhasilan program pengendalian TB-RO melalui pendekatan berbasis keluarga dan kearifan lokal.
