Pelatihan Pembuatan Pupuk Organik Berbasis Zeolit dan Fermentasi untuk Kelompok Wanita Tani Lahan Kering

Abstract

Produksi sayuran organik tidak hanya mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan, tetapi juga meningkatkan nilai tambah produk pertanian. Mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Amenia yang menghadapi masalah utama berupa keterbatasan ketersediaan pupuk organik bermutu, ketergantungan pada pupuk kimia, serta rendahnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota dalam memproduksi pupuk organik secara mandiri. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian meliputi pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik padat dan cair, pendampingan penyusunan standar operasional prosedur (SOP) produksi, serta praktik langsung aplikasi pupuk organik pada lahan percontohan sayuran organik. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota KWT Amenia tentang pembuatan pupuk organik sebesar 80%, dan sekitar 100% anggota telah mampu memproduksi pupuk organik secara mandiri sesuai SOP yang disepakati. Aplikasi pupuk organik pada lahan percontohan juga meningkatkan produktivitas sayuran organik sebesar 80% dibanding sebelum kegiatan pengabdian. Manfaat dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah KWT Amenia mampu memproduksi pupuk organik secara mandiri dan menggunakannya untuk usaha tani organik yang sedang dilakukan. Dengan jumlah dan kualitas pupuk organik yang lebih baik, produktivitas sayuran organik meningkat dan pendapatan para wanita tani ikut naik. Pada gilirannya, kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga tani mengalami perbaikan seiring peningkatan pendapatan dari sektor pertanian di pedesaan, yang secara agregat berkontribusi pada penguatan perekonomian nasional.
