Abstract

Program penguatan kapasitas masyarakat Desa Karuing, Kabupaten Katingan, Kalimantan Tengah melalui penerapan teknologi diversifikasi produk gaharu bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah ekonomi dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada penjualan bahan mentah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi Participatory Action Research dengan pendekatan andragogy yang meliputi tahap sosialisasi, pelatihan teknologi destilasi dan pembuatan lilin aromaterapi, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi. Evaluasi menggunakan Model Kirkpatrick menunjukkan hasil positif pada keempat level: (1) tingkat reaksi dengan partisipasi 100% dan antusiasme tinggi; (2) tingkat pembelajaran dengan peningkatan pengetahuan faktual 26,7% untuk destilasi gaharu dan 76,2% untuk pembuatan lilin aromaterapi; (3) tingkat perilaku dengan 85% peserta berkomitmen mentransfer pengetahuan dan mengimplementasikan teknologi; dan (4) tingkat hasil dengan proyeksi peningkatan nilai jual produk 10-15 kali lipat. Program berhasil mentransformasi mindset masyarakat dari pengumpul bahan baku menjadi produsen dengan orientasi kewirausahaan, sekaligus mendukung konservasi ekosistem gambut. Model pemberdayaan ini dapat direplikasi untuk pengembangan ekonomi kreatif berbasis sumber daya alam lokal di wilayah serupa.
